Meeting Minutes

• Started off with a discussion on the Market Approach. We are very much clear about what we are planning to do and how our product is going to look like in the end. But we do not have a well chalked out plan on how to take it to the market.
• Rajiv presented the basic basic marketing plan. The current understanding of the market chain was provided and then we looked at options on how we can fit our product to the market needs or how we can create a market for it. The Marketing Issues page has the relevant information.
• Pawan raised the point that we have to be clear about all the assumptions that we make about the ODM's so that we can confirm them once we approach them with our product. The list of assumptions can be found on the Marketing Issues page.
• The pro's and con's of our product offering were discussed. Check the Marketing Issues page for more.
• Rajiv gave the update on the happenings since the last meeting. The feedback received form the FOSS Startup camp and the the pitch to Inventus was provided to the team. It seems that the message that we want to give out is still not clear. So we need to revamp our presentation to address all that
• The status was provided to the team. Currently there are two three tasks ongoing. Pankaj T is handling the Baseband, Abhimanyu is handling the OS and Rajiv is handling the MAC Layer. The latest update on each of them can be found at the status page.
• The action items were laid down and assigned. The list is here
• We had a round of discussion on everybody's expecations on our project and why are they are in it. The two most important reasons were the experience of being involved in a startup and the work involved. The thrill of conceiving, building and selling a product was next. Money was the last factor mentioned by anybody.
• Everybody also laid down an amount of time they can dedicate to this project. Based upon that we will revise the schedule of the project and put a realistic date on the timelines.
• The time of weekly meeting was disucssed and 3 PM Saturdays was agreed upon.
